How do I get a duplicate title in Nebraska?

If the vehicle was last titled in Nebraska

1. Download and fill out the Nebraska Duplicate Title Application
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Division of Motor Vehicles
     • Time frame: Same day
     • Cost to obtain: $14
   • By mailing the application to the Division of Motor Vehicles
     • Time frame: 14 days
     • Cost to obtain: $14

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Nebraska

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
