How do I get a duplicate title in Indiana?

If the vehicle was last titled in Indiana

1. Download and fill out the Indiana Application for Certificate of Title for A Vehicle – State Form 205
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles
     • Time frame: 2 weeks
     • Cost to obtain: $15
   • By mailing the application to:
     • Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles
       100 N. Senate Ave, Room N411
       Indianapolis, IN 46204
       • Time frame: 2 weeks
       • Cost to obtain: $15

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Indiana

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
