How do I get a duplicate title in Delaware?

If the vehicle was last titled in Delaware

1. Download and fill out the Delaware Duplicate Title Application
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Division of Motor Vehicles
     • Time frame: Same day
     • Cost to obtain: $50
       • By mailing the application to:
       • State of Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles
       • 303 Transportation Circle
       • Dover, DE 19901
         • Time frame: 4 weeks
         • Cost to obtain: $50

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Delaware

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
