How do I get a duplicate title in Washington?

If the vehicle was last titled in Washington

1. Download and fill out the Washington Affidavit of Loss form
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Vehicle Licensing Office
     • Time frame: 4-6 weeks (same day at Quick Title offices)
     • Cost to obtain: $35.50 ($85.50 for Quick Titles)
   • By mailing the application to the Vehicle Licensing Office
     • Time frame: 4-6 weeks
     • Cost to obtain: $35.50

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Washington

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
