What do I need to do with my plates?
Remove the month/year sticker and then return the plates to your local DMV. You can choose to destroy or recycle them instead.
Is there anything else I need to do?
Complete a Notice of Vehicle Saleform online within 10 days of the date of sale to let the DMV know about the change of ownership.
