How do I get a duplicate title in New Hampshire?

If the vehicle was last titled in New Hampshire

1. Download and fill out the application for New Hampshire Duplicate Certificate of Title
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Division of Motor Vehicles
   • Note: If your vehicle is model year 1999 or older, the application must be submitted in person.
     • Time frame: 5-10 business days
     • Cost to obtain: $25
   • By mailing the application to:
     • Department of Safety

If the vehicle was last titled outside of New Hampshire

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
