How do I get a duplicate title in Missouri?

If the vehicle was last titled in Missouri

1. Download and fill out the Missouri Duplicate Title Application
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Department of Revenue
     • Time frame: 3-5 business days
     • Cost to obtain: $14.50
   • By mailing the application to:
     • Motor Vehicle Bureau

       P.O. Box 100
       Jefferson City, MO 65105-0100
       • Time frame: 4-6 business days
       • Cost to obtain: $14.50

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Missouri

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
