How do I get a duplicate title in Alaska?

If the vehicle was last titled in Alaska

1. Download, fill out, and notarize the Alaska Affidavit of Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Title
2. Submit the application
   • In person at the Division of Motor Vehicles

If the vehicle was last titled outside of Alaska

The registered titled owner(s) of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled.
